On October 28, our college held the 5th Student Organisation Change Conference and the opening ceremony of the Qingma Class of the School of Architecture and Design in the Red Flag Auditorium. Zhou Xiaojin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, Liu Xianpeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, attended the conference. Su Yawei, Deputy Secretary of the League Committee of the College and Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office, Counsellors Liang Huan and Guo Wenzhan, all Sports student cadres, class leaders of class 2023, league secretary and all students of class of 2024 participated together. The meeting was presided over by Ji Huijuan.
With the singing of the group, the meeting kicked off. First of all, You Yue, the representative of the fourth student organisation and executive chairman of the student union, made a speech. She reviewed and summarised the relevant work of the fourth student organisation over the past year. Subsequently, Guo Wenzhan read the list of outstanding student cadres of the fourth student organisation. Zhou Xiaojin and Liu Xianpeng issued letters of appointment and certificates of honour to the student cadres, affirming their efforts and contributions. Su Yawei read the list of major student cadres of the fifth League Committee and the student union, and Liang Huan read the list of major student cadres of the fifth college student Red Star Construction Centre.
At the meeting, Li Chengye, chairman of the new student union, and Xu Rongjie, chairman of Hongxin Construction Centre, spoke on the stage respectively, thanking the students for their hard work in the past and clarifying the future development plan of the department. At the end of the conference, all the student cadres took the oath of integrity.
After the conference, the opening ceremony of the Qingma Class was followed. At the opening ceremony, Zhou Xiaojin awarded the flag to the Qingma Class.
The successful conclusion of this conference is not only an affirmation of the hard work of the previous student cadres, but also an encouragement to the new student cadres, and laying the foundation for the orderly development of the new student organisation.(Text/Zhou Ying, Yang Shiyu Picture/Wei Detao)
