Online News Report: On December 2, the "'Bags' Touch Hearts, Walk Together with Love" — 2025 Jiangxi University of Science and Technology Themed Cultural Tote Bag Creative Design Competition, hosted by our college, was held in the university library. This event also served as a public education activity for the 2025 World AIDS Day at the university. Sponsored by the University Medical and Healthcare Center (University Hospital), co-organized by the Student Affairs Office, and undertaken by the College of Architecture and Design, the competition was attended by Yang Rongrong, Section Chief of the AIDS Prevention Section of Ganzhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention; Zhou Maoping, Dean of the University Hospital; Liu Liming, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office; Long Ping, Deputy Secretary of the University Youth League Committee; Liu Xianpeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Architecture and Design; Liu Duanxiang, Dean Assistant of the University Hospital; and Guo Wenzhan, Teacher of the College of Architecture and Design, along with contest participants and student representatives.
First, the members of the judging panel were introduced at the venue. They evaluated the works from multiple dimensions including theme relevance, creative artistry, communication practicality, and integration of campus culture . Fifteen shortlisted teams took turns to present and explain their design works on stage, elaborating on their creative concepts and the connotation of AIDS prevention , demonstrating the creative talents of the university's students in integrating artistic expression with social responsibility.
After scoring and joint discussion by the judging committee, the list of winners for the first, second and third prizes was finally determined. During the award ceremony, Liu Xianpeng (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Architecture and Design), Long Ping (Deputy Secretary of the University Youth League Committee) and Liu Duanxiang (Dean Assistant of the University Hospital) presented awards to the third prize winners; Yang Rongrong (Section Chief of the AIDS Prevention Section) and Liu Liming (Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office) awarded the second prizes; Zhou Maoping (Dean of the University Hospital) presented the first prize and took group photos with the winner as a memento.
The first prize winner delivered an acceptance speech, sharing the thoughts during the creative process and understanding of AIDS prevention public welfare . Subsequently, all teachers and students took an AIDS prevention volunteer oath together, promising to actively learn AIDS prevention knowledge, spread health concepts, and take social responsibility through practical actions .
Finally, the event concluded successfully with a group photo. With "bags" as the carrier, this competition disseminated AIDS prevention knowledge in a vivid way , strengthened the awareness of teachers and students to "join hands in AIDS prevention and share responsibilities"
