In order to better enhance the safety awareness of teachers and students and improve the comprehensive management and safety work level of the college, on the afternoon of November 29th, Zhou Xiaojin, secretary of the party committee of our college, and Wang Kun, deputy secretary of the party committee, organized all students of environmental design major of grade 2019 to visit the fire VR experience station of Wenming Avenue in Ganzhou City.
The fire announcer of the experience station enthusiastically and detailedly explained the firefighting knowledge and related firefighting skills for the teachers and students, such as the characteristics of firemen's uniform, the use of fire extinguisher, how to effectively dial the firefighting telephone and obtain timely rescue. Teachers and students wear VR glasses on the firefighting VR experience simulation platform, as if they were at the fire scene, and truly felt the self-rescue and the correct survival skills at the fire scene. Everyone actively participated in the experience and mastered survival knowledge in the simulated real scene, which was exciting and beneficial.
Through this study, the students not only learned a lot of firefighting knowledge, but also were impressed by the comprehensive management and safety work of the college.
