(1) Product design engineering
This direction takes home ecological design and intelligent product design as the research direction. Based on the concept of sustainable development and intelligent manufacturing technology, based on Nankang furniture, smart home products, electronic products and other industries, the ecological design and manufacturing of Nankang furniture and intelligent design theory and application of home electronic products are studied. Relying on Nankang China Furniture Research Institute, Ganzhou Industrial Design Center, Guangdong Industrial Design City to carry out product design and ecological strategy research.
(2) Environmental design engineering
This direction focuses on the research fields of mine ecological landscape restoration design and Hakka ecological human settlement environment. Based on the theoretical research of ecological civilization, modern technology, art aesthetics and human settlement environment, it integrates the professional knowledge of architecture, urban and rural planning, metallurgy and mining, and focuses on the ecological research of mine landscape, Hakka traditional villages and rural construction. Ecological design theory is integrated into local economic construction practice, and practice and research are carried out on the basis of platforms such as Gannan Hakka House Design and Rural Landscape Revitalization Institute.
(3) Digital visual design engineering
This direction mainly takes new media visual art as the research direction, information design and Internet technology as the means, Hakka culture in southern Jiangxi as the main research object, and focuses on the two-dimensional and three-dimensional digital artistic expression of cultural heritage, so as to achieve the unity of beauty and value. This direction relies on the provincial platform of "Gannan Hakka Culture Digitization Research Institute" and "Gannan Hakka Intangible Cultural Heritage Digitization Research Base" to carry out research.
(4) Space design engineering
The main research directions of this direction are "regional urban and rural planning and design theory and method", "regional urban and rural spatial sustainable development", "regional urban and rural historical heritage protection planning", "urban and rural regional planning theory and method" and "green building design theory and method". This program is limited to candidates with bachelor's degree in urban and rural planning, architecture, geographic information system science, human geography and urban and rural planning.

Wang Kun: Associate Professor, Member of the Communist Party of China, graduated from Jiangxi University of Science and Technology with a master's degree in engineering in 2006. He is now the deputy dean of the School of Architecture and Design of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, and serves as the master's supervisor of Industrial design engineering, ecological design and technology. His main research direction is digital visual design and environmental design.
